Step 1  We select sustainable Missouri Oak, Hickory and Walnut that are milled into rough cut planks and slowly air dried for about 8 months. 

Step 2  Then we transfer the planks to our on-site kilns for precise temperature and humidity controlled sterilization to ensure the wood will not split or warp under normal conditions. 

Step 3  Next, we sort through the planks to find the Best of the Best to set aside for furniture tops while smaller furniture sections can use wood that can be worked to fit into those dimensions. We choose WALNUT planks for smooth, clear, consistent grain. We choose OAK for surfaces with consistent large circular mill saw cuts for our beautiful Rough Cut Oak surfaces. These Oak planks are not planed but hand sanded for this unique surface. Our HICKORY is carefully chosen for color and character and is called Rustic Hickory to set it above plain  monotone Hickory. 

And on top of this, we are constantly on the lookout for planks with exceptional “Live Edges” for unique pieces. “Live Edges” are one of our specialties.

Step 4  We stock a large amount of prepared wood planks so we are ready when you place an order. Then it's Joining - Cutting - Turning - Assembling - Sanding - Finishing to your specifications. All for an affordable price and in a reasonably short turn around time.
